Company's History
OMEGA FOOD IMPORTERS CO. LTD. was established in February, 1998
in London, Ontario. In September 2003 Omega moved its operations
from London, Ontario to the new location in Mississauga (Greater
Toronto Area). The new head office and a much larger warehouse
facility is adapted to meet Omega's special requirements for
climate controlled storage.
Since the beginning Omega has been expanding rapidly. Today
the company covers a distribution network that spreads throughout
the whole territory of Canada from Vancouver to Montreal, with
sales representatives in all major Canadian cities.
A new line of products introduced in 2000 has contributed to
a substantial increase in sales. As the company’s business
expanded Omega was nominated as an exclusive distributor for
many manufacturers from Europe. With each year the company is
working on newer and better ways to improve and enhance the business.
In 2004 Omega won the best single exhibit award at Grocery Showcase
West in Calgary. ”Omega put exceptional effort and creativity
